Sittin in the airport.
So, here I am.... Sitting and waiting to board the plane at almost 6am, when I've been here since 3am. It's crazy how there are so many people here this early, but then again, it's LAX. My next stop is Chicago for about an hour and a half. Then Germany for another hour and a half, then I am off to Moscow. I really wish someone was flying with me because I really have to pee and don't wanna take all my stuff to the bathroom again, cuz that sucked :( anyways, just hoping no luggage gets lost this time. Especially since I have 5 checked ones. :(

Fuck You, United.
Never again will I fly with United Airlines. I hate their baggage policy-seriously. So, since I plan on living in Russia for at least a year, I need to take a bunch of crap with me to survive the crazy winters. Besides that, living in Moscow is like one of the most expensive places to live in, so it's cheaper to pay the baggage fees than to buy a shit ton of clothes over there.
Anyways, onto my rant on why I hate United: the first bag is free. Okay, that's expected. the second jumps to $100. Damn, that's a lot, but okay...The third, 4th, and 5th (5 is maximum) jump to 200 bucks each. That's pretty crazy, right? Okay, it gets crazier. If your bag is over-sized or overweight, you get another 200 bucks tacked onto that.
Since I wanted to pack a couple of cute umbrellas and a flagpole, I decided i'd use one of those military duffel bags, which I thought would be no problem since my brothers have used them in the past while going abroad, and since I always see them being used by other people at the airports.
Well, just my luck, my bag happened to be a little bigger than the requirements, so that bag would end up costing me 400 bucks. I am planning on taking 4 luggage, meaning that my bill would be 700 U.S.D. pre-tax...for my luggage! that would be more than my plane ticket! F that.
United also sucks because they don't give any sort of discount. I've been on flights before, where if you pay your excess baggage fees online ahead of time, they'll give like a 20% discount. But not you, United. Assholes. So now I need to find another luggage I can use to make it all work.
In OTHER news, I bought peanut butter today. Crunchy, to be exact.
I know, to Americans, this may be a WTF moment....like a "why should I care" moment. Well, America....you should care, and lemme tell you why. There is NO peanut butter in Russia!!!!! Yes, really. could not believe it either. Okay, maybe I shouldn't say there is none there, because technically there is. But let's just say it's kinda like a huge shortage since it's pretty hard to find. And then, when you finally DO find it, it's some shitty European brand , about half the size of a small jar of peanut butter, and about 15 bucks. Oh yeah, and when you finally DO find that peanut butter, you are lucky enough, so don't expect crunchy, because it's just not gonna happen. The creamy peanut butter alone already baffles Russians, so just do not ever expect to find crunchy peanut butter there.
In OTHER other news..... i fly to Russia in 16 days!!!!! yay!!!!!!! <3
