Hello everybody. My name is Bree, and I am a student who is trying to get a scholoarship to study abroad in Russia. I have created this blog to document my journey along the way. Anyways, the scholarship that I have applied to is the David L. Boren scholarship, and is due February 9th, and I have been working on the essay for some time now. I just feel like so much depends on how well it is written so I keep stopping, and taking breaks, and thinking too long on some parts. I just feel so nervous and stressed out about submitting my essay because I feel like, if I don't get this scholarship, I honestly don't know how I'm going to pay for the program. As it Is, I am already paying for school on my own, so my only options are to get this scholarship, or take out a very huge loan, which I do not even know if I'll qualify for. The program I would like to go with is for Moscow State University in Russia, and it is for an academic year. If I cannot get the scholarship, I am going to try to go for a semester. I plan on attending for the upcoming fall semester, which begins in September of 2012. Anyways, here is to the beginning of my journey to Russia. I hope I can make it there :)
